Alutiiq Museum Lesson Plans

The Alutiiq Museum has produced lesson plans available to the public as part of their educational boxes lending program. Each box explores an aspect of Alutiiq heritage with hands-on activities that can be adjusted for many ages. Materials come in a sturdy box with instructions. Anyone may check out a box for up to two weeks. There is no charge to use the materials. More information and resources can be found on the Alutiiq Museum website.

KAC Sum Arts Lesson Plans

The Munartet Project is proud to highlight Kodiak Arts Council's teaching artists who participate in the Munartet Learning Community and contribute to the richness of arts learning in Kodiak.

In the summer of 2016 Munartet members from Kodiak Arts Council’s teaching artists paired with the pre-service teacher cohort to offer classes to the Kodiak community as part of the Kodiak Arts Council's Sum’Arts program. Each pair of teachers developed a lesson plan and we are happy to share them with you to use in your classroom! Lesson plans created through this collaboration are available for download below. Visit the Kodiak Arts Council’s website to find out more about their arts offerings.
